Robotic & Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship Program

Robotic & Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship Program

The minimally invasive fellowship offers comprehensive clinical training in all aspects of endourologic and laparoscopic surgery. The fellowship emphasizes the medical and surgical management of complex renal stone diseases. It includes laparoscopic training for donor nephrectomies, partial and radical nephrectomies, renal ablative therapies and radical prostatectomies. The fellowship incorporates training and research at the UCLA Center for Advanced Surgical and Interventional Technology (CASIT), which houses a laboratory for robotic surgery. This division offers a one-year fellowship to qualified candidates who have completed an accredited residency in urology.
