BIO

Born in Southington, CT, Dr. Aaron Laviana graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Biological Sciences. He then completed his M.D. degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. While there, he was inducted into the AOA Honor Society and received the William C. Maxted Award for outstanding academic performance in Urology. He is currently a chief urology resident at UCLA. Aaron's research interests lie predominantly in urologic oncology and optimizing value-based-care from both the cost and quality aspects. By focusing his time at UCLA on these issues, Aaron plans to integrate his research into a career of academic medicine with an emphasis on optimizing urologic outcomes.
